'SoftAnchor' started with a vision: to deliver traditional Neapolitan pizza to London. The Johnson family opened this pizzeria in 1985 as a quaint, family-run enterprise with recipes passed down for generations.
'Emily Johnson', our pioneer, mastered the pizza craft on her journeys through Italy, apprenticing with renowned pizzaiolos in Naples, where pizza was born. After her return to the UK, she aimed to bring forth the magic of true Italian pizza, adhering to venerable techniques and premium ingredients.
Initially just a cozy 12-seater, our pizzeria expanded into a cherished neighborhood staple, yet remains steadfast in our dedication to excellence and authenticity. We persist in utilizing classic wood-fired ovens, preparing our dough from scratch daily, and selecting top-tier ingredients.
Still under the 'SoftAnchor' family banner, the next generation of the Johnson kin leads our ardent team. While we welcome new innovations, the essence of our trade persists: producing luscious, authentic pizza to unite our patrons.
